Extensive clinical experience having served as programme director of community mental health and crisis response programmes, and as consultant-in-charge of the child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric service at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH)

Making significant strides in mental health care through leadership roles and initiatives

Served as founding chief of the Department of Emergency & Crisis Care at IMH and supported mental health care for migrant workers in Singapore through Project Dawn, in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower

Caring for diverse populations and age groups

Expertise in providing mental health care for individuals across various walks of life, with past experiences ranging from Boston Children’s Hospital to a war hospital in Afghanistan

Improving mental health literacy for future generations

Previously an adjunct assistant professor at medical schools in Singapore and currently an educator at the School of Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University
